Florida’s Jacksonville Zoo welcomed an adorable baby tiger last month, and now the gender has officially been revealed. It’s a girl!

The gender was uncovered during her first visit to the vet where they documented her weight (she was almost 8 lbs.) and also checked her vitals.

“The main goal for today is to make sure that she appears healthy,” the vet told Jacksonville’s WTLV in a video shared by USA Today. “She seems to be a healthy, very robust, little female cub.”

Just like the rare baby aye-aye, who was a sight to see on her first doctor visit, this little cub will surely make animal-lovers smile. Just watch the moment they bring her into the room!

This precious little cub has been a cause for celebration for the zoo: she’s the first critically endangered Sumatran one to be born there in 35 years.

“This rare cub’s birth is so exciting for the zoo and our community,” Dan Maloney, Jacksonville Zoo’s deputy director of animal care and conservation, told the Florida Times-Union. “We can’t wait to see the youngster grow, develop, and explore the special features we designed into our newest ‘Land of the Tiger’ habitat, especially the unique trail system.”
